The island is known for its pristine beaches, crystal clear waters, and white sand. It is an ideal holiday destination for those who love diving, snorkeling, fishing, and water sports. The people are friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal place to learn about the Maldives culture.
Here are some things you should do in Fuvahmulah when visiting:
Go on a bike tour with locals. Rent a bike and live like a local. Biking is a great way to explore the island and meet the locals. You can rent bikes from one of our dive centers or guesthouses.
Go diving with tiger sharks or see some of the most beautiful pelagic fishes. The dive sites around Fuvahmulah are famous for having Tiger Sharks which makes it an exciting place for scuba divers who have never dived with these amazing creatures before. There are also many pelagic species like manta rays, dolphins, whale sharks etc…
Try free diving or take a dip in the freshwater lakes. Fuvahmulah has one of only two freshwater lakes in the Maldives, which makes it a great place to go swimming, especially if you want to get away from it all.
If you are looking for some adventure, try free diving or go snorkeling. There are several good spots along the coast where you can enjoy snorkeling and swim with the fish.
When in Fuvahmulah Island Maldives, try a mud bath or go and explore the marshland, and check out the different types of coral beaches we have.
Oh and don’t forget a picnic on Thoondu beach, the most beautiful beach in the Maldives
